Imagine Your Story
Students are encouraged to enter a poster promoting a love of reading based on this year’s summer reading theme, Imagine Your Story.
All work must be the student’s own original design and the sole work of the student. (copyrighted images are not allowed)
Posters should be on plain white paper no larger than 8 1/2 inches by 14 inches.
Deadline for entries is Friday, April 24, 天津体育彩票网.
K – 2
3 – 5
6 – 8 (middle)
9 - 12 (high)
All student K – 12 may enter. Each school should host a school level judging event to select their 1st place winner to send to the district level competition. A rubric for judging is available from the school media specialist.
1st place winners from each school go on to the district level competition. One winner from each category, k – 2, 3 - 5, middle, and high will be chosen to represent the district’s summer reading program. All other posters will be returned to schools for display.
Winners will be recognized at an upcoming Board Meeting and posters will be displayed at one of the public library branches in Bibb County.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners at each school will receive ribbon and a certificate.
Winning entries become property of the BCSD.
